Augustine Cabin is a thoughtful, modern tiny house, just 380 square feet with a thoughtful open floor plan and countless modern comforts, and a phenomenal view of Kachemak Bay, the Cook Inlet, and volcanic Mount Augustine beyond, the cabin’s namesake.
Appointed with gorgeous handcrafted accent furniture built specially for Augustine, it includes a full kitchen with black stainless steel appliances, a Jotul gas fireplace, flatscreen TV, 2 leather rocking chairs, a private porch with gas BBQ, private outdoor 2-person Marquis hot tub, fire pit and incredible, unobstructed views of the winter sunsets.
Located up the road from Bouman’s Bluff, apart from the other guest houses, Augustine is the perfect vacation rental for a couple looking for a romantic, private and breathtaking place to stay.
Please note that Augustine’s stunning perch is located in very close proximity to Sterling Highway. To make this gorgeous location work, we worked with an engineer and invested extensively in soundproofing as part of the cabin’s construction. From inside the cabin, you should not be able to hear normal daily road noise. But outside, you may hear it.
We want to make sure each guest knows ahead of time about the proximity to the road but the view, amenities and attention to detail in the Augustine make it one of our favorite locations in Homer.
