Shorebird Cottage is located on Kachemak Drive and managed by Baycrest Lodge. You may be fortunate enough to meet the owners, Ken & Wilma, who live right next door. This cottage is a hidden gem! To get there, you weave through a typical Alaskan, mixed-use property (think boat shop, broken down vehicles etc.). When you enter the property and see the Shorebird Cottage and it's million dollar view, you'll be thankful for the road that brought you there! Also note that this property is close to the Homer Airport so you will most likely hear planes taking off and landing.

There is no daily maid service but that can be arranged ahead of time, for an additional fee. We ask that guests DO NOT wash our linens. Contact us the day before and we can supply you with new linens and/or towels.
