Experimental craft brewery located in a modern warehouse. Often has a food truck outside.

Odin Meadery

5290 Davis St.
Award-winning barrel-aged mead + fresh sparkling mead made with local honey. Also has a specialty cheese case so you can build your own small charcuterie board.

Sweetgale Meadworks & Cider House

3657 Main St.
Delicious mead and cider with a rustic, picture-worthy atmosphere. Outdoor fire pit and fire tables available.

Bear Creek Winery

60203 Bear Creek Dr.
Serving wine made from alaskan berries. Their tasting experience is very fun!

Homemade bagels and schmear, coupled with an excellent specials menu full of bagel sandwiches. They also take their coffee very seriously…it’s delicious!

Wild Honey Bistro

106 W. Bunnell Ave.
Specialty crepes with locally sourced ingredients when possible. Sweet, savory and gluten free crepes are available. Also a great spot for coffee and pastries!

Homey bakery with everything from pastries and cakes to soup and bread. 

La Baleine Cafe

4460 Homer Spit Rd.
Cute cafe on the spit with sandwiches, egg dishes, pancakes etc. made with locally sourced ingredients. Indoor and outdoor seating available. 

Fritz Creek General Store - CURRENTLY (7/6/23) CLOSED DUE TO A FIRE. NOT SURE IF/WHEN THEY ARE REOPENING.

A great place to grab a breakfast burrito or slice of pizza from their heated shelves or order a delicious sandwich from the kitchen. They are also a top contender for best baked goods in Homer.

Known for their specialty sandwiches but also offer salads and a comforting breakfast food menu.

River Cafe

361 Sterling Hwy.
Classic american cafe with various breakfast and lunch options. 

Latitude 59

3858 Lake St.
Offers breakfast burritos, baked goods, lunch wraps, sandwiches and salads. Another Homer staple that has been serving the community for years. 

Tickled Pear

1308 Lakeshore Dr.
Offering street food from around the globe! Menu usually includes some kind of tacos, torta and noodles.

The Boat Yard Cafe

American diner located in a boat yard – a popular spot for fishermen to eat!

Great views and atmosphere in this small steak and seafood restaurant. They have an excellent variety of wine and alaskan beer.

Swell Taco

A casual, craft taco shop with fresh ingredients and locally-sourced seafood. Outdoor seating only. 

Vida’s Thai Food

397 E. Pioneer Ave.
We highly recommend Vida’s for take out. Everything she makes is great!

Alice’s Champagne Palace

195 E. Pioneer Ave.
A fun and easy place to grab a drink and traditional bar food. Has a rustic alaskan cabin feel with plenty of space and a small stage that occasionally hosts live music.

Fat Olives

276 Ohlson Ln.
Sit down to enjoy their full italian menu or visit the walk-up counter to buy pizza by the slice. Wine and beer available. 

Glacier D Restaurant

3789 Homer Spit Rd.
American cafe that’s known for their burgers and the best milkshakes around. 

Captain Pattie’s Fish House

4241 Homer Spit Rd.
Casual sit-down eatery with a nautical theme and ocean views serving alaskan seafood, wine & beer.

Boardwalk Fish & Chips

4287 Homer Spit Rd #12
Casual cafe that's known for their excellent deep fried white fish.

Harbor Grill

4262 Homer Spit Rd.
Great location with indoor and outdoor seating that overlooks the harbor. Offers steak and seafood, along with cocktails, wine and beer.

The Chart Room Restaurant

4786 Homer Spit Rd. 
Part of Land’s End Hotel, this full-service restaurant and lounge has a brunch and dinner menu. They specialize in local seafood but have options for all diets.

AJ’s Steakhouse

Top-notch steaks and seafood with delicious cocktails and a classy, old-school pub feel.

The Green Can

453 E. Pioneer Ave.
One of Homer's newest restaurants (opening Summer '22) that places an emphasis on craft coctails and works with local seafood suppliers and farms to fill out their beautiful dinner menu.

Wasabi’s Bistro

59217 East End Rd.
Steak, sushi and seafood with an upscale atmosphere and excellent view. Full cocktail menu, along with wine and beer.

The Alibi

453 E. Pioneer Ave.
A great place to watch sports and eat wings, the Alibi offers a full bar and reasonably priced comfort food. If you stick around later than 10pm, the lively tavern crowd starts to fill out the space.

Carmen’s Gelato

Award-winning gelato that sits right on the beach. We love biking from the base of the spit to Carmen’s!

Sea Sweets

4025 Homer Spit Rd. #2
A vibrant candy shop that offers everything from chocolates to salt-water taffy to fresh donuts. This is a really fun place to bring kids. 

Spit Licks

4287 Homer Spit Rd.
Simple little ice-cream shop on the spit that is a nice pick-me-up on a hot day.
